Towan Black - Blue Mirror Polarised Lens
Originating from the Cornish “tewyn”, meaning “sand dune” or “sand hill”
Inspired by one of Newquay’s most iconic beaches, Towan takes its name from the sweeping bay that sits at
the heart of the town’s surf culture. Backed by cliffs and overlooking the open Atlantic, this beach is shaped
by powerful swells, changing tides and golden sand. Frequently visited by the Waterhaul
team, Towan represents the energy, movement and connection to ocean sports that sit at the core of the brand.
Built for everything from beach days to road trips, Towan is our always performing all-rounder with a versatile unisex fit and a clean rectangular shape that works across everyday wear and weekends outdoors. The frame balances lightweight comfort with confident coverage, making it an easy go-to for all-day exploring, made from our Traceable Marine Plastic™, recovered from the UK coastline and recycled by Waterhaul. Matte finish, available in black or raw (a sage green tone that comes from the original pigments of the fishing gear we've recycled - and so can vary by batch) colourways in a lightweight frame backed by our lifetime warranty.
Paired with polarised Polycarbonate+ lenses, designed to cut glare from sea, snow and other reflective surfaces for clearer, comfortable vision for all adventures. Built for lightweight performance, the lenses offer high impact resistance, with an outer anti-scratch coating and an inner anti-reflection coating to cut internal reflections on the back of the lens, reducing visual distractions and sharpening clarity. Our blue mirror option further enhances contrast and performance in bright conditions.
Each 100% recycled sunglasses frame is backed by our lifetime warranty, and directly drives our mission and impact.
