Indigo dye comes from a plant, and is one of the oldest dyes used for coloring fabrics. This natural dye process has long been used in many cultures worldwide. The unique characteristics of natural dyeing make it easy to create wonderful resist patterns on fabric.

The process of tie-dye typically consists of folding, twisting, pleating, or crumpling fabric, before binding it with string or rubber bands, followed by the application of dye or dyes

In this workshop, you'll:
  • practice knotting and binding techniques
  • How natural dyes differ to processed dyes
  • Craft your very own masterpiece to adorn your home or give it as a unique gift.
No prior experience is necessary, all skill levels are welcome!
Led by the create team, a group of passionate crafters and artists with years of experience, this workshop promises to be both educational and enjoyable.
All materials provided.
