Each ball contains around 30 seeds (apart from the herbs which are approx. 10 seeds to a ball), and each tin contains 20 balls. Choose from:
Salad: A collection of fast-growing frilly salad, including salad rocket, kale, green and red mustard, and cress. These can be grown indoors on a sunny windowsill (keep well watered) or in a garden bed or pot. Contents will cover 3-5 medium sized pots or it’s best to keep at least 10cm between scattered balls. Scatter at any time from early Spring until late Autumn.
Tea: Grow your own herbal tea! A mix of mint, chamomile and anise which can all be drunk as an infusion of freshly cut leaves, while the anise seeds can also be ground and strained into hot water. Enough to cover 1 square metre in a garden or 3-5 medium-sized pots (leave at least 10cm between balls). Can be grown from early Spring to late Autumn (all three plants are unlikely to grow from one ball), either on a sunny windowsill or in a garden bed or pot.
Herb: A collection of cooking herbs. Each seed ball contains a mix of Basil, Dill, Parsley, Chives and Sweet Marjoram, which can be grown on a sunny spot on a kitchen windowsill inside (be sure to keep well-watered) or in a garden bed or pot outdoors. Do leave some of your Chive and Sweet Marjoram to flower, bees will love it! Scatter at any time from early Spring until late Autumn. Contains enough to cover 1 metre square in a garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball).
