Creative Writing With Ben Rowswell

Use nature as an opportunity to breathe, feel, process thoughts & emotions and connect with
your inner voice, this relaxed and fun workshop will use techniques that will help you
communicate your personal experience through creative writing.
This workshop is for all levels and abilities and provides opportunity to contribute and learn from
each other.

This session is led by Ben Rowswell, an author and writer with a passion
for inspiring others to get outside, engage with nature and find their own
creative style. Ben's books appeal to readers of all ages and have been
praised by celebrities such as Dawn French and environmental
campaigners including Surfers Against Sewage.

What to expect -
Some fun writing warm ups, an inspirational walk, a delicious lunch mixed in with lots of
practice and techniques to help you develop your creative writing practice.

What to Bring -

Suitable 'weather appropriate' clothing for a short walk
A camera phone / smartphone (if you have one)

October 14 and 15th, 10 am - 2 pm both days. Lunch included.

Need to knows:

• Designed for grown-ups.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before their workshop is due to begin to fill out a sign-in form so that we can make the most of the workshop time available.
• Each workshop has a minimum number of participants required for it to go ahead. If this group size isn’t met, workshops are subject to cancellation up to seven days before they are due to run. If this happens, we will contact you — you’ll be offered a full refund or an alternative workshop date.
• Full prepayment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued if the organisers need to cancel the session.
